The Neck is one of three locations that an Alliance can build a Camp within the North during Alliance Vs Alliance conflict.
The Neck is a swamp and marsh-filled region of Westeros, located where the waters of the Bite, an inlet of the Shivering Sea, and Blazewater Bay, an inlet of the Sunset Sea, draw relatively close to one another, making it the narrowest part of the continent.

Landmarks[]
The Bite
|
a long bay that lies between the North and the Vale. To the west the Bite reaches the Neck, while to the east it opens onto the Narrow Sea. The Three Sisters lie within the Bite. |
The Fever River
|
a river in the Neck. Moat Cailin lies near its headwaters. The mouth of the river opens to the Saltspear. |
Greywater Watch
|
the seat of House Reed in the North. It is roughly located in the swamps of the Neck, southwest of Moat Cailin. It is a castle built upon a crannog, one of the man-made floating islands of the swamps, and it does not stay in the same place, making it impossible for ravens or enemies to find. |
Moat Cailin
|
an ancient stronghold of the First Men on the Neck, in the North. It is one of the North's most important strongholds, though much of it now stands in ruins. Its importance stems from the fact that it commands the Causeway, which is the safe route for armies to travel through the swamps of the Neck. |

The Causeway
|
the only dry road through the Neck and forms part of the Kingsroad in the North. The road rests on a raised embankment which provides the only navigable passage through the bogs and the only safe route for armies to travel through the swamps of the Neck. |
Kingsroad
|
main overland route in Westeros and extends for almost two thousand miles. From the northernmost end at Castle Black, at the Wall, it runs south to the capital, King's Landing and continues on through the Stormlands to Storm's End. |
