The Cursed Goat alliance started soon after open beta, and reincarnated into it's current form in May of 2013. We consist of a core of players who met during a previous Facebook game Civ World.
Many have asked the reason for the name. It is a play on the Cursed GoTA, from back in the days of lag. The leader is from the Chicago area, where the Curse of the Billy Goat is prevalant to Cubs fans. It also sounds like the name of an English pub.
Benefits
Reincarnation is encouraged and will be supported by other members with barters
We approach AVA with a on phase/off phase cycle to allow for restocking and reincarnation
Chat is used for social interaction as much as for game actions
Actively running alliance challenges on a regular basis, with opportunites for all members to place
Expectations
Must have a FB account and be willing to friend the leaders, and be added to two groups (the main wall and our click me wall) and to the group chat. This is non-negotiable, as it is the only effective way we have to communicate.
Must in-game friend all other members of the Goats. FB friending is encouraged but not required.
Must commit to checking the Goats wall for the latest info on our current allies/enemy list, and up to date info on AVA actions, at least once a day when actively playing. The Click Me wall also has info on who is looking for a particular AC prize.
Do not send hostile PTP actions to ally members or other Goats UNLESS you have a one-on-one agreement with that player for sending hostile
