Dorne is the southernmost region of Westeros and is known for its hot weather and hot tempers. It is ruled over by House Martell. Dorne was the last of the Seven Kingdoms to submit to the Targaryens and did so through marriage treaty rather than conquest. Hence the words of House Martell: Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.
