A portly guard in Stark livery braces Kirth. "You're a king's man- is it true? The king's offered a lordship for Daenerys's head?" Kirth nods warily.

Kirth says, "You know it. But what do you think?" The guard leans on a wall. "This was what Lord Stark resigned over, y'know." Kirth nods. "All know."

Tell Tomard that Stark should trust the king's judgement.

Inquire about Lord Stark's health.

Tomard the Stark Soldier

Kirth says, "Terrible what happened to Lord Stark. How is his leg healing?" Tomard says, I shouldn't say too much. He rests, and grows stronger."

Old Ways

Allow that Ned Stark's honor is admirable even if his choice was damned foolish.

Make light of Tomard's concerns and prick him with words.

Kirth muses, "You'd think your master would trust his friend. He rather looks the fool, now." Tomard roars, "No, you're the fool," and fumbles for his sword.
Kirth says, "Stark shouldn't have resigned, even if he was right. And he was foolish to provoke the Kingslayer." Tomard shouts, "I'll show you provoked!" 
Kirth grins "Stark's a fool in a sickbed, and you're doubly a fool to support him." Tomard struggles to draw his sword, spitting curses.
